Election of INTERPOL President al-Raisi: Bruno Min interviewed on Deutsche Welle

Delegates at INTERPOL’s General Assembly elected controversial candidate Ahmed Nasser al-Raisi as President. Human rights groups have voiced concerns that the senior police chief from the United Arab Emirates has been implicated in human rights abuses in the UAE.

INTERPOL has also been under fire for the ongoing abuse of its systems by authoritarian regimes. Read more here.
